The warning that he's showing indicates that his WINDIR environement
variable is not set.

What version of windows is he using?

Is anyone aware of a problem under Windows when setting up the path to the
MP3 files? Phil was unable to get it working using 1.8 or 2.0. I sent him
a current snapshot and now it (sort of) works. The server is still
complaining though, and his path is not showing up in the web interface.
Any ideas? I haven't been able to reproduce this. We must fix this for
2.1.
Sean
Got your latest mail (many thanks).
Installed v2.1
The config (via the browser) of where the music files are is still a little
confusing showing a blank path box even when it is configured.
However,
(holds breath in excitement) IT ALL WORKS (never thought it wouldn't),
(pause for fanfare of trumpets) what a star piece of kit, brilliant.
Thanks for all your assistance, I promise not to test your patience again.
Lets get out there and sell LOADS of 'em.
Be in touch again very shortly (got to get it going via wifi now - ho ho
ho).
Very best regards
Phil Davies
P.S. only problem I can see is that the server continues to reports (lots
and lots of times) the "Use of uninitialized value in -d at c:/[server
directory]/lib/SliMP3/Prefs.pm line 205"
Which if nothing else will confuse some people (mainly simple englishmen).
