Ok, two more questions...

1. Can you send in one of the playlist files intact? It's
OK if we don't have the songs pointing to it, but I would like to see
every byte.

2. Are the m3u files always at the same level as the files that
they refer to?

I'm pretty sure that we don't handle relative references to files
within .m3u files...

One more favor, can you file a bug with all this stuff, and
include the file?

Because the
file

folder,
you on a PC?

Yes, I'm on a PC (using Windows 2000). As I said, the play list
files are in the same folder as the MP3 files they refer to.
For example,

e:\mp3files\
4 Non Blondes\
Bigger, Better, Faster,
More\
Bigger, Better, Faster, More.m3u
Train.mp3
Superfly.mp3
What's Up.mp3
...etc...

SliMP3 finds the M3U file fine and "enters" it like a
folder,
correctly showing the names of the songs within. It just doesn't
play the songs.

FYI, EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is a popular CD ripper for Windows.

Cheers,
