I just checked in some fixes that caused similar (but not the same)
problems when the server was started without the mp3dir defined.

John: can you update and see if things are better for you?

I just checked in a fix for something I saw that had the same symptoms.

My problem was that I had a completely empty directory somewhere under my
mp3 home, and it couldn't handle it at all. I really hope yours is the same
problem. :)

Ah, that's helpful. Looks like it's calling fixPath with the mp3dir undefined.

I'm about to check in a change. See if it helps you...

I tried deleting both my ~/slimp3.* files, cvs update, and doing makerelease
from scratch. Still have same problem. Give me a clue and I'll try to debug.

Hm, weird.

Does it do this immediately upon starting up? I can't reproduce this.

Somehow it seems like it's getting a file path that's undefined.

Could you move your ~/.slimp3.pref file aside and see if that helps it?

I'm at a loss to explain this. Works great here.
